The Illustrator agrees to provide live wedding illustration services at the above event, including creating illustrations during the wedding day and/or providing finished artwork thereafter, as agreed with the Client.

2. Payment Terms

A non-refundable deposit of 50% of the total fee is required at the time of booking to secure the date.
The remaining 50% is due six (6) weeks before the wedding date.
No work will be carried out, nor will the Illustrator attend the event, until full payment has been received.
Payments may be made via [bank transfer]

3. Cancellations and Refunds

The deposit is non-refundable under any circumstances, as it reserves the Illustrator’s time and date.

If the Client cancels after full payment has been made:

More than six (6) weeks before the wedding: 50% of the total fee will be retained.
Less than six (6) weeks before the wedding:100% of the total fee will be retained.
If the wedding date is postponed, the Illustrator will make reasonable efforts to transfer the booking to a new date, subject to availability.

4. Venue Requirements

The Client agrees to ensure the venue provides:

* One (1) table and one (1) chair in a suitable, well-lit, and sheltered location.
* Access to electricity if required for lighting or equipment.
* The Illustrator may request relocation if conditions are unsuitable for drawing (e.g., poor lighting, excessive noise, or weather exposure).


5. Travel and Access

The Client shall ensure the Illustrator has sufficient time and access to the venue to set up before the event begins.
* Travel expenses are included up to 30 miles from S13. Additional travel may incur an extra charge.

6. Adverse Conditions and Force Majeure

The Illustrator will make every reasonable effort to attend the event.
However, if unable to attend due to circumstances beyond their control—including but not limited to illness, accident, severe weather, transport failure, or acts of God—the following will apply:

The Illustrator will notify the Client as soon as possible.
* Any payments (excluding the deposit) will be refunded in full.
* The Illustrator shall not be held liable for any further costs, losses, or damages incurred by the Client.

7. Artistic Style and Output

The Client understands and accepts the unique artistic style of the Illustrator, as represented in previous work and portfolio.

The Illustrator retains full creative discretion over composition, materials, and artistic interpretation.

8. Copyright and Usage

The Illustrator retains copyright of all artwork created.
* The Client may display the physical artwork for personal use only.
* The Illustrator reserves the right to use images of the artwork for portfolio, marketing, and social media, unless the Client expressly requests otherwise in writing.

9. Liability

The Illustrator shall take reasonable care when providing services but will not be liable for:

* Any event delays, cancellations, or issues outside of their control.
* Any indirect, consequential, or financial losses suffered by the Client.

10. Agreement

By paying the deposit, the Client confirms they have read, understood, and agree to the terms of this Agreement.
